Overview | |||||||
The cQ-DATR Volatility Histogram is confirmation indicator and could be used as volume indicator or input filter. It is based on the Directional ATR. When the histogram shows a green color it means there may be enough volatility (volume) to enter a buy trade, while a tan color means theres enough volatility (volume) to enter a sell trade. When the histogram displays a gray color then there isn't enough volatility (volume) to enter a trade. You can control the number of possible trade entries by using the Width parameter. The higher the number the more trade possibilities and noise are displayed. It has to output modes. The NORMAL mode uses single moving average for its calculations and SMOOTHED which uses 3 moving averages in its calculation. There are 29 different moving average types to choose from Watch the video to get a better idea of what the indicator does. This version does not have any buttons so the subwindow indicator isn't required. |
